Some fathers think that buying food and sending money for toiletries is equivalent to showing love..Be present in your daughters lives..
Take her out on ice cream dates, long walks or afternoon drives..Open the door for her and pull out her chair..Buy her roses and send her handwritten notes..Tell her she is the most beautiful girl in the world..Dance with her in the middle of the living room or in the isle of a shop..Don’t be the reason your daughters believe that material things are worth more..

Don’t break her heart before any boy does..Don’t be the reason your daughter doesn’t know what love really looks like..Raise your princess to be the queen she is meant to be..Set the standards high for the guy who wants her hand in marriage..Don’t just be a father in her life; Be a dad..At the end of the day you should be the protector of her heart not the reason why it is broken..

Drained

Have you ever felt so tired?

So tired to a point where you just don’t have the energy to complete the simplest of tasks like breathing. You just no longer have the energy, that drive to just be. You sit and you can’t even think. Being tired to a point where it’s not even about your body being physically drained, but it’s more of your mind and soul. Feeling so lost that you feel void of all emotions.

I’m tired but I don’t need sleep. Maybe I need a long hug and warmth just to feel something. When I say I’m tired I don’t mean shutting my eyes and dreaming. I mean sitting in a corner of my room trying to figure out how to feel. I’m tired to a point where when they betray me, I don’t even blink.

How can I be so drained? Is it possible? My head is so heavy yet my body feels so weak. Is it just me or do we all stop feeling?

…And I mean look at me I’m the perfect example of it, but I guess I’ve learned to cope with it and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Sometimes you just need to live with the pain. That’s all there is to it.
